Commercial-grade LED lights, cut to the exact length of your roofline. We source the lights, clips and timer, install everything, and store it for free between seasons.

C9 bulbs on custom-cut cord, clipped straight along every eave and peak. Warm white, multicolor or a pattern you choose.

Trunks and branches wrapped in mini lights, and bushes netted evenly so they glow instead of sparkle in patches.

Takedown
Takedown is a flat $100. We label your lights and store them free until next season, when the same custom-fit set goes back up and you skip the materials cost.

Year one adds materials, quoted after we measure. Every year after, this is all you pay. A typical single-story home has 120–180 ft of gutter line.

Questions

Common questions

Do I pay for lights every year?

No. We source commercial-grade LED lights, clips, cords and a timer for your home in year one, billed separately from installation. We store everything for free, and the same custom-fit set goes back up every year after. From year two on you only pay for install and takedown.

Will the clips damage my gutters or shingles?

No. We use plastic clips that slip onto the gutter lip or under shingle edges. We never use nails, staples or screws.

How much electricity do the lights use?

Very little. A 150-foot LED roofline draws about 100 watts, less than an old incandescent bulb. Running six hours a night for a month costs a few dollars.

When do I pay?

Materials are paid up front when you book, which locks in the install date you pick. The rest is due after your lights are installed. Takedown is a flat $100, and storage until next season is free.

How does the $300 referral work?

Refer a friend, family member or neighbor. Once their lights are installed and paid for, we pay you $300 in cash. Just make sure they give us your name on the quote form or when they call. There’s no limit, so five referrals means $1,500.

Are you insured?

Yes. Sparky Christmas Lights is an insured LLC, so your home is covered while we work on it.

What if it snows or rains?

All our lights and connections are rated for outdoor use. We install in light rain and reschedule only for ice or high wind.

When can you install?

Any time. We install 365 days a year, for Christmas, other holidays and special events. Dates before Thanksgiving fill up first, so book early if you want your lights up for the holidays.

When do the lights come down?

Whenever you’re ready. Tell us the date and we take everything down for a flat $100, then store it free until next season.

About Sparky

Started between baseball seasons

Sparky began in 2024 in Edmond, Oklahoma. During the off-season from baseball, two buddies and I started hanging Christmas lights. What began as off-season work quickly turned into something we loved doing.

When the three of us moved to different cities, I came back to my home state of Kansas and started Sparky Christmas Lights LLC on my own. Same work, same standards, now serving Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.

Baseball teaches you to show up on time, take care of the small things and finish what you start. That’s how we hang lights: straight lines, clean clips, and every strand tested before we leave your driveway.
